For my first course project in Info Design Studio Principles at Northeastern University, we were tasked to find a piece of existing information design that could be improved upon. I had recently experienced challenges tracking a package from IKEA (difficulty accessing the webpage, updates lacked detail, inconsistency, etc.), so I naturally chose to redesign its shipment update page, which can be found when opening up an emailed link. I asked users what kind of information they seek when tracking a package, so I did my best to design something that includes status updates, estimated delivery date/time, and additional parcel information. I also chose to add more IKEA branding to the design.
