In my Visual Cognition course at Northeastern University, our assigned final project was to create a “mind map” of all major course learnings. Mind map is a broad term, and it encompassed all visual and experiential formats, so I chose to pursue a publication-style format. Integrating key diagrams and concepts from course reading material, I designed a comprehensive overview of visual cognition topics, all while relating it to my own artwork. Below are two of my original weekly mind maps, a concept mapping brainstorm to prepare for the final project, and the actual project.
